SCMMA-IFPTE Local 222 is proud to support workers at the Saskatoon Public Library. CUPE Local 2669 is on strike today fighting for increased safety measures and fair wages. Their union has been without a contract since June 2023.
SCMMA staunchly believes that all workers deserve to feel safe at work. President, Greg Hippe, and Vice President, Jazmin Evers, joined the picket line at Frances Morrison Library this afternoon in solidarity. When we stand together with other civic unions, we ensure that Saskatoon becomes a more vibrant community for everyone.
